20th Annual Aquarius Exhibition Details Details Artwork Drop-off/Installation: Tuesday, January 23, 3-6 pm or Wednesday, January 24, 10-noon, 2024 (Drop-off schedule will be provided) ​ Show Dates: January 29 to March 3, 2024 Library Hours: Monday - Thursday 10-8; Friday & Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5 Artwork Pick-up: Monday, March 4, 10am-noon or Tuesday, March 5, 4-6 pm, 2024 (Pick-up schedule will be provided) Where: B. Smith Gallery, 3rd Floor Medina County District Library 210 S Broadway St, Medina, OH 44256 What: The 20th Annual members-only exhibition will be held at the Medina County District Library (MCDL) in Medina during the month of February. MCAL members are invited annually to exhibit two works in the show. Eligibility: Open to all CURRENTLY PAID members of Medina County Art League as of Dec 15, 2023. ORIGINAL WORK ONLY. It must be the artist’s own creation/concept and have not been in previous Aquarius shows. Entries may include three-dimensional and two-dimensional work in any medium framed or unframed wrap-around canvases; side stapled canvases must be framed. Secure with wire and D-rings for hanging. No saw-toothhangers. Mats must be clean. Frames are to be in good condition with no scratches, dents, or open corners. A diptych must be framed as one piece. The largest size of two entries must be no larger than 168” outside. 3-D work must fit through doorways and elevators. No giclees or reproductions will be accepted. We reserve the right to determine the acceptability of any entry. ​ Awards: Best of Show $175, 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $75, 4 Honorable Mentions $25 each, and Peoples’ Choice $50 ​ Juror: Anderson Turner, Director of Exhibitions at Kent State University School of Art ​ Sales: All sales are handled directly by the artist.
