“From Plein Air Study to Studio Painting”
Exhibit at Medina County Library

Members of the Medina County Art League, who are also members of the Cuyahoga Valley Area Plein Air Painters, will be exhibiting their artwork in the upcoming exhibit, “From Plein Air Study to Studio Painting”, November 8 - December 5, 2021 at the Medina County Library on the Square. Artists Kathy Stokes-Shafer, Bob Maurer, Brian Townsley, Betty Siska, Dave Fawcett, Ken Schell, and Donna Crane will also be joined by Judy Yen. Each member has chosen several of his/her Plein air studies as inspiration for paintings created back in the studio. For those not familiar with the term “Plein air”, it refers to paintings done out in nature, in the air. Also exhibited will be additional studio paintings done by these artists, all for viewing and sale. Those who read the Medina County Art League’s Facebook page have been able to follow the Wednesday morning Plein air outings with these artists for the past two seasons. Now you can see their work in person.
